Class-IV (MTS) 

• MTS employees are generally responsible for supporting the day-to-day functioning of government offices and departments.
• Assisting officers and other departmental staff in the performance of their official duties
• Attending to the needs of offices in relation to carrying files, documents, and other official correspondence

Sanitation Workers

• The primary duty includes cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of government buildings and other workplaces as may be required
• Assisting in cleaning works
• Maintaining cleanliness of one’s working place and generally keeping the places neat and tidy

What is the JK MTS Selection Process 2026?

Stage 1 – Written Examination – The first stage shall be the JKSSB Class 4 MTS written examination. The examination will be held in OMR based/offline mode. The examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice objective-type questions carrying 100 marks in total.

Stage 2 – Document Verification – The candidates qualifying the written test will be called for Document Verification (DV) against the vacancy.

Stage 3 – Final Selection – The selection/appointment of candidates will be made on the basis of vacancies, merit, category-wise reservation, and document verification.
