Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) will release the JKSSB Junior Assistant Result 2026 in May 2026 on the official website https://www.jkssb.nic.in. The Board has held an offline written examination on 19th April 2026 for candidates aspiring to join various government departments in Jammu and Kashmir. Once the Junior Assistant’s result is declared, the recruitment process does not end there. Shortlisted candidates have to qualify through the remaining stages to get the final appointment. The next steps that candidates have to go through are as follows:

1. Typing Test: Candidates who are shortlisted from the written test will be called for the typing skill test. This stage carries 20 marks. Candidates must have a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute and must have an accuracy of 90% to pass this stage.
2. Document Verification: In this stage, candidates have to verify their original documents related to age, educational qualification, category, and domicile certificate.

Note: The final selection will be based on the combined marks secured by candidates in the written exam and typing skill test, totalling 100 marks.
