JKSSB Junior Assistant Exam Date 2026 Out, Written Exam on 19 April

The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSC) is responsible for conducting the exam for Junior Assistant. JKSSB Junior Assistant Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in two stages; the first one is a written examination, and the second stage is a skill test for the Junior Assistant post.

• Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board will conduct the written examination for the Junior Assistant post in offline mode (OMR-based exam).
• After the written exam, a skill test will be conducted by the exam-conducting body for the shortlisted candidates from the written test.
• The last stage in the selection process is document verification.

JKSSB Junior Assistant Exam Pattern 2026

Understanding the exam pattern is very important for every candidate to plan their strategy and manage their time effectively during the examination.

1. The written exam consists of 80 questions for 80 marks.
2. The written exam is conducted in offline mode.
3. The total time duration is 80 minutes provided for this exam by the JKSSB.
4. One-fourth negative marking followed for this examination.
5. Questions will be asked in the exam from General English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Basic Computers.
