Jammu & Kashmir Bank Limited (JK Bank) is going to conduct a recruitment examination for the Apprentice posts under the Reference Number JKB/HR/Rectt/2026-182. Candidates who are planning to attend the online written examination must understand the syllabus in terms of the subjects covered in the two sections. This will help candidates plan their preparation effectively for the upcoming exam and improve their chances of scoring higher marks.

JK Bank Apprentice Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026

The syllabus and exam pattern for the JK Bank Apprentice post are decided by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The syllabus evaluates the candidate’s knowledge through General Awareness, English Language, and Aptitude subjects. The Computer-Based Examination has 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks, which the candidates must finish within the section-wise criteria. Although the eligibility is of Graduate level, the level of the Apprentice syllabus is around the 10th or 12th standard.

JK Bank Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection process for apprentice posts is made in a way to identify suitable candidates through merit-based examination. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the online exam, followed by document verification. The selection stages are:

J&K Bank Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern of Apprentice posts involves only an online exam, which has only Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam has two sections. Section 1 has General Awareness & English Comprehension subjects. While Section 2 has Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability.

• The online exam will be conducted in English only.
• Each section has 50 objective-type questions.
• Each section has a total of 50 marks.
• There will be a sectional time distribution of 30 minutes per section.
• For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
