IB ACIO Exam Date 2025 Out, ACIO Grade 2/ Executive Schedule

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), on behalf of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), is going to conduct the IB ACIO Exam 2025, for which the IB ACIO Exam Date 2025 has been announced. The officials will conduct the exam on 16th, 17th and 18th September 2025, and the exam date on which candidates have to appear for the exam has been mentioned on their IB ACIO City Intimation Slip 2025, along with the name of the city where the exam will be conducted.

The IB ACIO Exam is a national-level examination organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to select eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Executive in the Intelligence Bureau (IB). This year, the exam will be conducted on 16th, 17th and 18th September 2025 onwards to fill a total of 3717 vacancies for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Executive. IB ACIO Exam 2025 Shift Timing

The tier 1 exam for IB ACIO 2025 has been scheduled to be conducted on three consecutive days from 16th to 18th September 2025, and on each day the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts. The candidates’ exam shift timing has been mentioned on the respective city intimation slip along with the date of their exam. Candidates must reach their exam centres as per the reporting timing.

IB ACIO Exam Details 2025

The IB ACIO Tier I Exam is a 100-mark objective exam with five sections. To have an overview of the exam, candidates must go through the details provided below.

• Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
• Duration: 1 hour.
• Marks: 100.
• Negative Marking: 1/4th for each incorrect answer.
• Sections:
  (i) Current Affairs (20 Questions for 20 Marks)
  (ii) General Studies (20 Questions for 20 Marks)
  (iii) Numerical Aptitude (20 Questions for 20 Marks)
  (iv) Reasoning & Logical Aptitude (20 Questions for 20 Marks)
