Educational Qualifications

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized education Board/Institution.
• Those who have done their matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects are also eligible.

Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 2024

As a large number of vacancies are announced for Constables posts through Haryana Police Recruitment 2024 notification, HSSC has decided to follow a proper selection process to fill the vacant posts. The candidate’s selection will be based on three stage-that involves:-

• Preparation of merit list based on the marks obtained by candidates in the Common Eligibility Test (CET).
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the physical measurement test (PMT).
• Those who successfully clear PMT, are shortlisted for a physical screening test (PST) to evaluate the candidate’s fitness.
• The final stage is a Knowledge test, in this stage, shortlisted candidates are supposed to appear for an OMR-based examination of 94.5 marks.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

As the selection process for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 includes various stages, exam patterns for these stages also vary. So, the candidates must be well aware of the pattern and details of every stage that help them get an idea about the upcoming exam or test.

Exam Pattern for Physical Screening Test (PST)

After clearing PMT, and PST, candidates qualify for an offline exam i.e. Knowledge Test. The Haryana Police Constable Exam 2024 consists of a total of 100 questions for a total of 94.5 marks.

• Questions will be asked in bilingual languages i.e. English & Hindi.
• There is no negative marking for a wrong answer, however, if the candidate does not mark any answer 0.945 marks will be deducted for that particular question.
• Candidates will be allotted a total of 105 minutes to attempt the Haryana Police Constable OMR-based exam.
• For every correct answer, +0.945 marks will be rewarded.
• There will only be objective-type/multiple-choice questions.

Note:- Candidates having NCC certificates of A, B, or C level shall get 01, 02, and 03 marks respectively.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Knowledge Test

To pass the knowledge test for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, it is important to score at least 50% of the total marks by the candidates belonging to general categories.
