• Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed by government rules.

Steps to Apply for the Gujarat GSSSB Recruitment 2025

Candidates must apply online for GSSSB Pharmacist Recruitment 2025; no other mode of application will be accepted.

• Visit the website: https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in or www.gsssb.gujarat.gov.in.
• Click on “On line Application” and then select “GSSSB”.
• Click on the advertisement for Junior Pharmacist, Class-III, Advt. No. 329/2025-26 and then click “Apply”.
• On the screen, “More Details” and “Apply Now” options will appear:
• Click “Apply Now” to open the application form.
• Fill Personal Details and upload recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPG format as per dimensions and size:

1. Photo: 5 cm height x 3.6 cm width
2. Signature: 2.5 cm height x 7.5 cm width

• After uploading, go to “Confirm Application”, enter Application Number and Date of Birth, verify all details, and confirm the application.
• On confirmation, a Confirmation Number will be generated; note and keep it safely.
• Click “Print Application”, select Job/Advertisement number, enter Confirmation Number and Date of Birth, and take a printout for future reference.
• After obtaining the Confirmation Number, pay the examination fee online through the OJAS portal under “Print Application Form / Pay Fees”:
• Complete the transaction before 2nd January 2026 (23:59 hrs).

The selection process for Junior Pharmacist will be based on the following stages:

Competitive Written Examination (MCQ): Candidates must appear for the exam conducted by GSSSB.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of their original certificates

GSSSB Junior Pharmacist Exam Pattern 2025

The exam pattern for Junior Pharmacist is as follows:

• There are two parts (A and B), Part A has 60 questions and Part B has 150 questions.
• Each question carries 1 mark
• Total time for both Part-A and Part-B combined: 3 hours (180 minutes)
• 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

GSSSB Junior Pharmacist Salary 2025

The salary for a GSSSB Junior Pharmacist is structured based on the period of service. During the first five years, candidates will get a fixed pay of Rs. 40,800 per month. After completing five years of service, the pay will be revised to the Level 5 pay scale of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300, as per the 7th Pay Commission.
