EIL Management Trainee Selection Process 2026

The EIL conducts recruitment for Management Trainee primarily through GATE 2026 scores, followed by further evaluation stages, such as Group Discussion and Interview. The first stage of the selection process is the shortlisting of candidates on the basis of GATE 2026 scores in their respective disciplines. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview through email. All such candidates, eligible for interview, will be paid to & fro, limited to 3rd AC Sleeper Rail Fare by the shortest route.

EIL MT Recruitment 2026 Salary

Candidates who are selected as Management Trainees in EIL will receive a competitive stipend. During one year of training, selected candidates will get Rs. 60,000/- per month + Accommodation & Transport. After completing the training and absorption period, the pay scale will be Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,80,000/-. Apart from the basic pay, additional site allowances, leave encashment, and retirement benefits will be provided by the Engineers India Limited.
