Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics/Training/ Skill Education) Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized University/ Institute with provision of applicable concession to the respective categories*.
Accounts Officer Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University/ Institution with Economics/ Commerce/ Accounts/ Finance/ Business Studies/ Cost Accounting as one of the subject.
OR
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University/Institution and having SAS/JAO(C) examination conducted by any Account/Audit Services/Department of the Central/State Govt.
OR
Post Graduate of a recognized University/Institution with Economics/ Commerce / Accounts/ Finance/ Business Studies/ Cost Accounting as one of the subject.
OR
M.B.A. (Finance)/Chartered Accountant/ICWA.
Superintendent (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Junior Accountant 12th Class from a recognized Board/University/Institution with Accountancy/Business Studies/Economics/Commerce/Entrepreneurship/ Finance/Business Administration/Taxation/Cost Accounting as one of the subject.
AND
A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
Junior Assistant (i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

CBSE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for the recruitment of junior assistants and superintendents under the CBSE consists of multiple stages. The selection of candidates for Junior Assistants posts will be based on Tier 1 and Skill Test, and for Superintendents posts, candidates have to undergo the selection stage Tier 1, 2, and Skill Test.

  • Tier 1 – The Tier 1 exam consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • Tier 2 – The Tier 2 exam will be held for superintendent posts, consisting of Objective type (OMR-based) and Descriptive (Written) Examinations.
  • Skill Test – Based on candidates’ performance in the Tier-1/Tier-2 exam, the candidates will be called for the Skill Test. The skill test/ typing test is qualifying in nature, and no mark will be counted for the final merit list.

CBSE Superintendent Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier 1

  • The CBSE Superintendent Tier 1 exam consists of an objective (MCQ) type (OMR Based) Examination.
  • In the Tier 1 exam a total of 150  MCQ) types will be asked for a total of 450 marks.
  • The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
  • For each correct answer, 3 marks will be rewarded and 1 mark shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The level of the Tier 1 exam will be Senior Secondary.

CBSE Superintendent Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier 2

  • The CBSE Tier 2 exam consists of Objective type (OMR Based) and Descriptive (Written) Examination.
  • The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
  • The level of the Tier 2 exam will be graduation.
  • In CBSE Junior Superintendent Tier 2 objective type part 3 marks shall be awarded for every correct answer 01 mark shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • Candidates have to score a minimum of 30% marks in each part separately i.e. Objective (OMR) Type and Descriptive (Written) Type question papers to qualify for the exam.

CBSE Junior Assistant Exam Pattern 2025

  • The CBSE Junior Assistant Exam is divided into 5 parts namely General Knowledge, Reasoning and Mathematical Ability, General Hindi and English, Basic Knowledge of Computers, Awareness of School Education etc.
  • The exam consists of Objective multiple-choice OMR-based questions.
  • A total of 100 questions will be asked for a total of 300 marks.
  • For every correct answer, 3 marks will be provided and there will be negative marking 1 mark shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The language of the question paper will be bilingual i.e. both in Hindi and English.
  • The level of the exam will be senior secondary.
