Cabinet Secretariat Senior Field Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

Candidates with GATE scores from 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply for the Cabinet Secretariat SFO Recruitment. Candidates must hold a valid GATE score of 500 or above (i.e., 50% or above) in the corresponding GATE paper.

A total of 25 tentative vacancies are available across five subject streams, namely Computer Science / Information Technology, Electronics and/or Communication / Telecommunication, Data Science / Artificial Intelligence or CS, Mathematics, and Civil Engineering. Cabinet Secretariat Senior Field Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026

Education Qualification- The educational qualification required is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) or a Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc.) from a recognised university or institution in the relevant subject.

Age Limit (as on 12/07/2026)- The upper age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of application submission.
