The registration process has started on the official website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in and candidates must submit their application before 23rd August 2025. BSF Tradesman Application Fee 2025

To complete the BSF Tradesman Online Form 2025, the fee of Rs. 150 plus 18% GST must be paid by candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories. Candidates from other categories are exempted from paying any application fees.

Steps to Apply for BSF Constable Tradesman Exam 2025

Candidates must follow these steps to fill out the BSF Tradesman Application Form 2025

• Candidates have to apply online only through the official BSF website, www.bsf.in or https://rectt.bsf.gov.in
• First, register yourself by creating a One-Time Profile.
• Candidates must have a valid Email ID and Mobile Number to register.
• Fill all the details carefully like, personal information, address details, and Qualification Details in the profile, and clickthe  “SAVE” button after every step.
• Upload the following documents:

1. Recent passport-size photograph (Max 50 KB)
2. Signature (Max 50 KB)
3. Thumb impression (Max 50 KB)
4. Other required documents (Max 50 KB)

• No fee is charged for creating the One-Time Profile (OTR).
• After logging in, go to the Online Application Link, and click on ‘Click Here to Apply’.
• The system will check your eligibility; if you not eligible, it will show a message.
• Only eligible candidates can proceed to submit the form.
• Fill all other required fields and pay the application fee by using Net banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
• After paying the fee, download and save the completed BSF Constable Tradesmen application form in your system.

Domicile Certificate Guidelines

All candidates must upload a valid Domicile Certificate or Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) issued by a competent authority of their State/UT without it, the application will be rejected.

• Special Case, Assam: Candidates from Assam do not need to upload a domicile certificate. Their residential status will be verified later by the District Authorities.
• West Pakistani Refugees (WPR) in J&K and Ladakh: WPRs should submit a Nativity/Identity Certificate (Annexure V) issued by Sarpanch/Numberda. They also need to submit a copy of the electoral roll where their name appears as a voter.
• Vacancy Allocation by State: Candidates will be considered for vacancies in their own State/UT, based on the information they give in the application and the domicile proof submitted.

BSF Tradesman Eligibility 2025

Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and age requirements to be eligible to fill out the BSF Tradesmen Online Form 2025.

Educational Qualifications

For Trades: Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, Upholsterer

• Candidates must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) from a recognized board and any one of the following:

1. 2-year ITI certificate in the same or related trade
2. 1-year ITI or vocational course + 1 year work experience in that trade

For Trades: Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji/Syce

• Candidates must have passed the 10th class from a recognized board
• Must pass the Trade Test conducted by BSF

For Trades: Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter

• Candidates must have passed the 10th class from a recognized board
• Must have completed NSQF Level-1 course in food production or kitchen work (From NSDC or a recognized institute)

Age Limit (23/8/2025)

Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years to apply for BSF Tradesmen 2025.

• Age Relaxation:

1. SC/ST: Up to 5 years extra
2. OBC: Up to 3 years extra
