The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the total 1957 vacancies for recruitment of Sub Divison Officer/Senior Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Commandant, Superintendent, Sub Registrar, Sub Election Officer, Assistant Director, District Minority Welfare Officer, Sugarcane Officer, Employment Officer, Assistant Planning Officer, Additional District Transport Officer, City Executive Officer, Rural Development Officer, Revenue Officer, Labour Enforcement Officer, Block Panchayat Raj Officer, Inspector, Block Ann. Caste and Ann. Tribal Officer, Child Development Project Officer, and Block Minority Officer posts.

BPSC Exam 2024 Application Fee

While filling out the online application form for the BPSC 70th CCE 2024 examination, candidates have to submit an online application fee as their category. The authorities will accept the application fee through online payment modes only.

• ST/ SC/ Women/ Permanent Residents of Bihar/ Handicapped – Rs. 150/-
• Candidates belonging from other states – 600/-

Note:- Along with this examination/application fee, candidates are also required to pay a biometric of Rs. 200 for each BPSC 70th CCE/CPDO examination. Candidates must note that those who provided their Aadhar number for verification purposes are not required to submit the biometric fee.

Age Limit (As on 01/08/2024)

Educational Qualifications

(i) For All posts except for Child Development Project Officer –  Candidates must have completed their bachelor’s/graduation degree from a UGC-recognized university/institution or any equivalent examination

(ii) For Child Development Project Officer Post –  Those who have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university are eligible and are required to choose any of the following optional subjects for mains exam:-
a) Home Science
b) Psychology
c) Sociology
d) Labour & Social Welfare

Physical Requirements

Along with the age, and educational qualifications, the candidate’s physical fitness is also considered for determining eligibility. Mainly, the height and chest measurements of both male and female candidates are examined and the measurements for the same are discussed below.
