BPSC 70th Notification 2024- Overview 

The BPSC selection process will comprise a prelims exam followed by a main exam and interview. BPSC 70th Notification 2024- Important Dates

BPSC will announce all important dates related to the BPSC 70th exam along with the BPSC 70th Notification PDF. As expected the BPSC 70th Notification PDF 2024 will be released Between March - April 2024. Once important dates are released, we shall be updating them in the below table.

BPSC 70th Vacancy 2024

BPSC will release the vacancy for various Group A and B posts under the various departments in Bihar State. Previous year BPSC announced a total of 442 vacancies. The post-wise vacancy details will be released along with the BPSC 70th Notification PDF.

BPSC 2024 Application Form 

The online registration process for BPSC 70th CCE exam 2024 will be made available on the official website of BPSC. Candidates who have completed their graduation and are interested in the 70th combined competitive examination are advised to apply before the last date to avoid any kind of hindrance. Step 1:Visit the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Step 2: Go to the recruitment section on the main page.

Step 3: Click on the link that reads, “ Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination.”

Step 4: Click on the BPSC 70th 2024 Apply Online Link and log in using your User ID and Password.

Step 5: Fill in all the required details and upload the documents required.

Step 6: Take the print out of the application form for future reference.

BPSC 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Bihar Public Service Commission has set the bars for selecting the candidates through Combined Competitive Exam and only candidates holding the required eligibility criteria can apply for BPSC 70th CCE Exam. 

BPSC Education Qualification 

The required education qualification for BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination is a Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized University.

BPSC Age Limit

BPSC 70th Exam 2024 Selection Process

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC)will conduct the selection process in 3 stages for which we have provided the complete details below as mentioned in BPSC 70th Notification 2024:

1. Preliminary Examination (Qualifying): Candidates will first have to appear for the Preliminary Written Exam. This exam serves as a screening test and consists of multiple-choice questions. It is qualifying in nature. The syllabus for the prelims exam is provided below in this article.
2. Mains Examination: Candidates who qualify in the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains Written Test. The main exam is more comprehensive and covers a wider range of subjects. It consists of descriptive-type questions, and the syllabus will also be specified in the official notification.
3. Interview: Candidates who successfully clear the main written test will be shortlisted for the interview stage. This is a personal interaction round where candidates’ communication skills, personality traits, and subject knowledge are assessed by a panel of experts.

BPSC 2024 Exam Pattern

The pattern for each stage of the BPSC 70th CCE exam 2024 has been discussed below.

1. The BPSC 70th Prelims exam will be of General Studies carrying 150 marks and the duration of the Prelims exam is 2 hours.
2. BPSC 70th Prelims exam is of a qualifying nature only.
3. BPSC 70th Mains Exam consists of 4 subjects- General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1 & Paper 2 and an optional paper.
4. The duration of each paper in the BPSC 70th Mains Exam is 3 hours.
5. There will be a negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.
6. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in Mains & Interview only.

BPSC 2024 Admit Card 

BPSC 70th Notification 2024 will be released on the official website along with prelims and mains exam date. The BPSC 70th Admit Card for the prelims exam will be issued tentatively 10 to 15 days before the exam date to all the candidates who have successfully submitted their application form. The candidates qualifying Prelims exam will be issued with BPSC 70th Admit Card 2024. 

BPSC 2024 Result 

BPSC Civil Services Prelims exam result is released followed by BPSC 70th Mains Result and Interview result. The prelims exam is of a qualifying nature just for shortlisting the candidates for the Mains exam. The candidates qualifying for BPSC 70th Mains will be called for BPSC 70th Interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the marks scored in BPSC 70th Mains & Interview only. 

BPSC 2024 Cut Off 

BPSC will release category-wise cut-off marks for BPSC 70th 2024 after the exam is over. Till then the candidates must check the previous year's BPSC 70th Cut Off Marks to get an idea about the difficulty level of the exam and have an estimation of what could be for the upcoming exam.
