BPSC 72nd Vacancy 2026

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will release the number of vacancies for Sub Divison Officer/Senior Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Commandant, Superintendent, Sub Registrar, Sub Election Officer, Assistant Director, District Minority Welfare Officer, Sugarcane Officer, and other posts. 

BPSC Application Form 2026

The Bihar Public Service Commission has started accepting the online application form for the BPSC CCE 2024 examination through the official website https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/. Candidates are advised to submit their application forms before the last date arrives To avoid last-minute technical glitches. The last date to apply online is 04th November 2024 (extended).

Steps to Apply for BPSC 72nd Exam 2026

1. Visit the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) www.bpsc.bih.nic.in.
2. Go to the recruitment section on the main page.
3.  Click on the link that reads, “ Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination.”
4. Click on the BPSC 72nd 2026 Apply Online Link and log in using your User ID and Password.
5. Fill in all the required details and upload the documents required.
6. Take the printout of the application form for future reference.

BPSC 72nd Exam 2026 Selection Process

1. Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
2. Stage 2: Main Examination
3. Stage: Interview

BPSC 2026 Exam Pattern

The pattern for each stage of the BPSC 72nd CCE exam 2024 has been discussed below.

1. The BPSC Prelims exam will be of General Studies carrying 150 marks and the duration of the Prelims exam is 2 hours.
2. The BPSC 72nd Prelims exam is of a qualifying nature only.
3. BPSC 72nd Mains Exam consists of 4 subjects- General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1 & Paper 2 and an optional paper.
4. The duration of each paper in the BPSC 72nd Mains Exam is 3 hours.
5. There will be a negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.
6. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks scored in Mains & Interview only.

BPSC 72nd 2026 Salary 

Here, below we have discussed the pay scale and pay level for each post under the BPSC 2026 recruitment drive. The monthly pay scale of a Deputy Collector is Rs. 61,500/- to Rs. 72,000/- as per the pay level 9. 

BPSC 2026 Admit Card 

The BPSC 72nd Admit Card for the prelims exam will be issued tentatively 10 to 15 days before the exam date to all the candidates who have successfully submitted their application form. The candidates qualifying Prelims exam will be issued with BPSC Admit Card 2026. 

BPSC 2026 Result 

BPSC Civil Services Prelims exam result is released followed by BPSC 72nd Mains Result and Interview result. The prelims exam is of a qualifying nature just for shortlisting the candidates for the Mains exam. The candidates qualifying for BPSC 72nd Mains will be called for BPSC 72nd Interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the marks scored in BPSC 72nd Mains & Interview only. 

BPSC 2026 Cut Off 

BPSC will release category-wise cut-off marks for BPSC 72nd 2026 after the exam is over. Till then the candidates must check the previous year's BPSC 71st Prelims Cut Off Marks to get an idea about the difficulty level of the exam and have an estimation of what could be for the upcoming exam.
