Bihar Vidhan Parishad Security Guard PET Date 2026 Out, Physical Exam Begins from 21 April

Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat has announced the dates for physical measurement test and physical ability test for direct recruitment to the post of security guards (advertisement no.-03/2023). The physical exam will be conducted from 21st to 28th April 2026 in the grounds of the Sports Complex (Bihar Veterinary College Ground) in Patna. Candidates should reach the exam venue 2 hours before the physical timing.

Bihar Vidhan Parishad Security Guard PET Date 2026 Out

The Bihar Vidhan Parishad Security Guard Physical Test assesses candidates’ fitness through PET and PST, including running, height, and weight standards. The PET will be conducted for all those candidates who have registered for the 68 Security Guard vacancies.

The final selection process for the Security Guard posts will be based on two stages: the Physical Test and the Interview. Both stages carry equal weightage, with 50 marks allotted to the Physical Test and 50 marks to the Interview, making a total of 100 marks. Candidates must perform well in both stages to secure their selection.

Bihar Vidhan Parishad Security Guard PET Admit Card 2026

As per the official notice released by the Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat, the admit card for Bihar Vidhan Parishad Security Guard Physical Exam will be released on 15th April 2026. Candidates can get all exam information, such as physical date, venue etc will be released along with its admit card.

Bihar Vidhan Parishad Security Guard Physical Exam is conducted to assess the physical fitness and eligibility of candidates applying for Security Guard posts. It mainly consists of two stages of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

Physical Measurement Test

For All Categories of Male Candidates

• Distance: 1 mile (1.6 km)
• Maximum Time Allowed: 6 minutes
• Up to 5 minutes – 50 marks
• More than 5 minutes and up to 5 minutes 20 seconds – 40 marks
• More than 5 minutes 20 seconds and up to 5 minutes 40 seconds – 30 marks
• More than 5 minutes 40 seconds and up to 6 minutes – 20 marks

For All Categories of Female Candidates

• Distance – 1 km
• Maximum Time Allowed – 6 minutes
• Up to 5 minutes – 50 marks
• More than 5 minutes and up to 5 minutes 20 seconds – 40 marks
