The Bihar School Examination Board, Patna has successfully conducted the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 to assess the eligibility of candidates to determine the eligibility of candidates for teacher posts. The STET is the most awaited result among the candidates who appeared in the written exam. The Bihar STET exam consists of 02 papers. Paper 1 for Secondary level teachers (Class 9-10) and Paper 2 for Higher Secondary level teachers (Class 11-12). This year a total of 3,59,489 candidates applied for the Paper 1 exam and 2, 37,442 candidates applied to appear for the Paper 2 exam. A total of 3.6 lakh candidates appeared for the exam who want to pursue their careers in the teaching field.

2. Navigate to the result section located on the homepage.
3. Locate the link for “Result – Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test 2024”.
4. A login page will appear, enter essential details such as the Mobile Number and OTP/Password. 
5. Once you have entered your login credentials accurately, click on the “Login” button.
6. Upon successful login, your Bihar STET Result 2024 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Bihar STET Result 2024 Normalization Process

The Bihar School Examination Board adopts a normalization method to prepare Bihar STET Result 2024. The Commission adopted this because the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test was held in different shifts, and the difficulty level of the examination was also different. So, any candidate does not get an extra advantage or disadvantage, the authorities have adopted this procedure.

• Whatever the normalized score of the candidate after the normalization process, that will be the marks obtained by the candidate. The passing or failing of the candidates will be determined on the basis of this normalized score as per the percentage of passing.
• For Example- A candidate may be considered as passed or failed based on the normalized score. For example:- If a candidate scores 76 marks out of 150 total marks, and his normalized score is 74.90, then he/she may be considered as failed.
• The Bihar STET Exam 2024 was held for a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in the exam, but in the process of normalization, if relatively more questions are answered wrongly, then the normalization score may be negatively impacted.

BSEB STET Minimum Qualifying Marks 2024

Candidates scoring the below-mentioned minimum passing marks in the written exam will be considered qualified for the BSEB STET Exam 2024. Candidates from the general category have to score a minimum of 50% and candidates from the SC/ ST/PWD / Women category have to score a minimum of 40% marks in the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test 2024.

What Next After Bihar STET Result 2024?

Candidates who declared qualified in Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) will be issued to Bihar STET Certificate.
