Bihar ANM Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible to apply for the Bihar ANM Recruitment 2025, candidates have to fulfill the required eligibility criteria as specified by the State Health Society, Bihar. Educational Qualification

To be eligible to apply for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM), candidates must ensure that they fulfill the required educational qualification as mentioned below:

• Must be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC).

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

To be eligible to apply for the post of ANM, candidates must have a minimum age of 21 Years and an upper age limit varies category-wise that as tabulated below.

Age Relaxation 

Age relaxation for some reserved categories is also provided, as mentioned below.

• Divyang (PwD): 10 years relaxation in the maximum age.
• Departmental Employees: 5 years relaxation (subject to eligibility).
• Candidates who met the maximum age limit between 1st June 2021 to 1st August 2025 in previous recruitments will also be eligible if they meet all other conditions.

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): Online examination with 60 multiple-choice questions.
• Normalization (if required): Applied if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.
• Preparation of Merit List: Based on CBT marks (after applying a 0.8 weightage factor) and work experience marks.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
• Final Selection: Based on total marks from CBT and work experience, as per category-wise vacancies.
