The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has made an announcement regarding the new schedule of the BPSC AEDO Exam Date 2025-26 for 935 AEDO posts through the official notice released on 29th December 2025. The BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer Exam, which was earlier scheduled from 10th to 16th January 2026 (excluding 14 January 2026), will now be held on 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st April 2026. The official exam date and exam schedule will be released shortly on the official website https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in/.

BPSC AEDO Vacancy 2025

Under the BPSC AEDO Recruitment 2025 drive, a total of 935 vacancies will be recruited for Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) [सहायक शिक्षा विकास अधिकारी] posts. Out of the total vacancies, 319 vacancies are reserved for women candidates.

Candidates need to pay an application fee when submitting their Bihar AEDO Application Form 2025 online at https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in/. The candidates from all categories have to pay Rs. 100/-. Candidates who do not mention Aadhaar No. as proof of identity in their online application will have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- (two hundred) as a Biometric fee.

BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer Exam Pattern 2025

• The BPSC AEDO exam consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions
• The exam comprises the 3 papers. including subjects General Language, General Knowledge, and General Aptitude.
• Each paper consists of 100 MCQ-based questions for a total of 100 marks.
• There is are section exam timing which is 2 hours.
• For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded, and there is negative marking; 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
• The general language question paper is qualifying in nature; candidates have to score a minimum of 30% marks to qualify for the exam.
