Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2025

Assam Police Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Constable and Sub Inspector is specified in the official notification, listing the important parameters that need to be fulfilled by the candidates willing to apply for the posts of Constable and Sub Inspector in Assam. Educational Qualification

• Constable – Candidates who have passed HSLC or Class 10th from any recognised Board or Council are eligible to apply online for Assam Police Vacancy 2025
• Sub Inspector – Candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Commerce, Science or equivalent stream from a recognised College/ Institution affiliated with a recognised University are eligible

Age Limit

• Sub Inspector of Police (UA) in Assam Police – 20 to 26 Years
• Sub Inspector (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions – 20 to 24 Years
• Constable for Assam Commando Battalions – 18 to 21 Years
• Constables (AB/UB) in Assam Police – 18 to 25 Years

Steps to Apply for Assam Police Vacancy 2025

The candidates have to submit their applications for Assam Police Recruitment 2025 by following the steps-

1. Visit the official website of the Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) at www.slprbassam.in.
2. On the homepage, click on “Apply Online for Upcoming Recruitment”.
3. Click on Apply Online, and a new page appears on the screen. Click on New Register.
4. Enter your personal details and a valid email ID and password. A unique registration ID will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
5. After completing the registration process, click on the Login tab and enter your registration ID and registered mobile number.
6. Click on “Apply”, and the application form appears on the screen.
7.  Start filling in the required details in the Assam Police Recruitment 2025 Application Form.
8. Submit your passport-size photographs, signature, and required document as mentioned in the instructions.
9. Pay the required application fee through online mode as per category.
10. Download and take a printout of the Assam Police Application Form 2025 for future reference.

Required Documents to be Uploaded

1. Passport Size Photograph in JPEG format- The photograph must be taken with a white background. (pixel size 320 x 240 to 640 x 480), (file size 450 kb).
2. Scanned Signature in JPEG format. (pixel size 400 x 150 to 800 x 300), (Dimensions of the signature 3.5cm (width) x 2.5cm (height)) and (maximum file size is 100 kb).
3. Certificate for proof of age. (Admit Card /Certificate of H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination)
4. HSLC/ 10th Pass Certificate or equivalent examination.
5. Mark Sheet of HSLC or equivalent examination.
6. Driving license for LMV or MMV, or HMV.
7. Employment Exchange Registration Card.
8. Certificate of Caste from a Competent Authority in Assam.
9. NCC certificate issued by a Competent Authority, if any (for which the candidate would be claiming weightage marks).

Assam Police Selection Process 2025

Candidates will be selected for Constable and Sub Inspector posts based on the following stages.

1. Physical Standard Test/ Physical Efficiency Test
2. Written Exam
3. NCC
4. Oral/Viva Voce

Assam Police Physical Standard Test 2025

In the Assam Police Physical Standards Test (PST), candidates have to fulfil their measurement requirements in Height, Chest, and Weight.

Assam Police Physical Efficiency Test 2025

Assam Police Physical Efficiency Test will consist of a total of 40 marks for constable male candidates and 60 marks for constable female candidates. The PET test contains the following parameters.

• The Assam Police written test will consist of 100 multiple-choice type questions for 50 marks
• For each correct answer, a half mark will be provided
• There will be no negative marking
• The level of the question paper will be for classes 9th and 10th
• The language of the question papers is Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English
