SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 is a state-level exam conducted by the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Assam, for admission into the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education course. The course is offered at NCTE-recognized Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs), including DIETs, CTEs, Normal Schools, BITEs, BTCs, and approved private institutes across the state.

Assam D.El.Ed. Exam Application Fee 2026

To apply for Assam D.El.Ed. PET Exam candidates need to pay the required application fee of Rs. 600/- for all categories. The fee will be paid online through the Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI etc.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2] from a recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate, excluding marks secured in the optional/extra/fourth subject.

Age Limit (01/07/2026)

Candidate must be between 18 years and not more than 34 years to be eligible to apply for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Exam. The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories will be 36 years.
