Tamil Nadu Field Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent, along with a 2-year ITI certification in a relevant trade, NCVT/SCVT trade certificate, and at least 1 year of Apprenticeship Training.

TNEB TNPDCL Field Assistant Salary 2026

The basic pay scale for the post of Field Assistant is Rs. 18,800 to Rs. 59,900 per month. Apart from basic pay, employees may receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per the applicable rules. The government has estimated the total monthly employment cost at Rs. 35,548 per employee, including allowances and the employer’s contribution.
