How to Calculate Marks Using PSSSB Clerk OMR Sheet 2026
Candidates can calculate their probable marks by comparing their marked responses to the published answer key. Before calculating marks, candidates need to check the marking scheme as mentioned in the official exam instructions.
The PSSSB Clerk written exam pattern under Advertisement No. 02/2026 consists of two parts, including a qualifying Punjabi language test (Part-A) and the main objective exam (Part-B).
- Part-A (Qualifying) – Candidates need to attempt 50-mark questions (50%) and secure at least 25 marks to qualify for Part-B
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers
- Part-B (Main Exam) – Candidates need to answer 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each. For every incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
PSSSB Clerk Marks Calculation Formula
Part-B Probable Score = Total Correct Answers − (Total Incorrect Answers × 0.25)
Example: If a candidate answers 80 questions correctly and 12 questions incorrectly, then the probable Part-B score would be: 80 − (12 × 0.25) = 80 − 3 = 77 Marks
