Bihar LET Notification 2026 Out for 5800 Librarian Posts, Apply Begins on 1 October

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the Bihar Librarian Eligibility Test (LET) 2026 Notification on 28 September 2026 for candidates aspiring to become School Librarians in Bihar. The official notification is for the Vidyalaya Pustakalayadhyaksh Patrata Pariksha 2026, and the online application process will begin on 1 October 2026 and continue till 21 October 2026. The eligibility test is scheduled from 19 November to 10 December 2026.

The Bihar Librarian Eligibility Test 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The question paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks. There will be 100-mark questions from library science and 50-mark questions from general knowledge. There is no provision for negative marking in the examination.

Candidates belonging to PwD and other eligible categories will receive age relaxation as per the applicable Bihar Government rules.

Bihar LET 2026 Exam Pattern

The Bihar School Librarian Eligibility Test 2026 will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The question paper will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.

There will be a total of 150 questions carrying 150 marks. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates will get 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete the examination.
