MP Nayab Tehsildar Recruitment 2026 Out for 73 Vacancies, Apply Online & Exam Date

MPESB Nayab Tehsildar Departmental Limited Exam Notification 2026 has been released on 11th September 2026, inviting eligible applicants for 73 Nayab Tehsildar posts. The recruitment would be for eligible departmental employees working in the revenue department. This would include employees from the clerical service cadre and the Patwari / Revenue Inspector cadre.

The online application process will commence from 17 September to 1 October 2026. The selection examination shall comprise two objective-type question papers, each of 100 marks, with a duration of 2 hours. The exam will be held from 14 November 2026 onwards. Candidates are advised to go through the cadre-wise eligibility norms carefully before applying.

MP Nayab Tehsildar Eligibility Criteria 2026

The Nayab Tehsildar 2026 examination is a departmentally limited competitive examination. Therefore, eligibility is different from that of a regular open recruitment examination.

Candidates must fulfil the conditions prescribed under the Madhya Pradesh Junior Administrative Service (Recruitment and Service Conditions) Rules, 2011, including Schedule 5.

Departmental Service Requirement

Candidates must be working in the specified Revenue Department cadres.

An eligible candidate should have completed at least 5 years of service on a permanent or officiating basis in a clerical post of the Revenue Department or as a Patwari/Revenue Inspector, as applicable.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognised university.

The accepted fields mentioned in the rule book include:

• Arts
• Science
• Technical/Engineering
• Commerce
• Agriculture

The minimum educational qualification must have been acquired by the date of submitting the application. A qualification obtained after the application date will not make the candidate eligible for the advertised posts.

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026)

The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 55 years. 

Number of Attempts

A candidate is allowed to appear in this departmental examination not more than three times under the scheme.

The examination fee for the direct recruitment/regular departmental vacancies is Rs. 2,000 for all categories.

A correction fee of Rs. 20 per correction, along with a portal fee of Rs. 40 per correction transaction, as specified in the fee table.
