Indian Air Force Group C Recruitment 2026- Overview

The Indian Air Force invites offline applications from Indian citizens whose age should be between 18 to 25 years, and they should have completed 10th/12th/ITI from a recognised institution for the recruitment of various Group ‘C’ Civilian posts at the various Air Force Stations/Units.

Age Limit

For all posts, the age should be between 18 to 25 years. The crucial date for determining age limit is the last date of receipt of the application.

Note: SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against UNRESERVED posts are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit, experience, etc.

How to Apply for IAF Group C Recruitment 2026?

Eligible candidates can apply to any of the Air Force Stations listed in the advertisement, subject to vacancies and qualifications. The application must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News / Rozgar Samachar.

1. Download/write out the application form as per Annexure-I, typed in English/Hindi.
2. Affix a recent passport-size photograph (self-attested) on the application form.
3. Enclose all self-attested documents in support of educational qualification, age, technical qualification, PwBD, experience, and caste certificate (if applicable).
4. Place the application in a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 10/- stamps pasted.
5. On the envelope, clearly mention: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______ AND CATEGORY ______”
6. Submit separate applications for each position if you are applying for more than one role.
7. Enclose two passport-size photographs (same as affixed on the application form).
8. Dispatch to the concerned Air Force Station of choice within the stipulated date.

• Caste certificate – SC/ST/OBC issued by a competent civil authority (self-attested)
• EWS Income & Asset Certificate valid for FY 2026-27 (based on FY 2025-26 income)
• PwBD Disability Certificate (if applicable), including Medical Certificate (Annexure-II) for typing test exemption
• Ex-serviceman discharge book photocopy (if applicable)
• Experience certificate (if required for the post)
