The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially released the RSSB Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026 notification for 3,540 contract-based Teaching Associate posts under the Rajasthan College Education Society (Raj-CES). RSSB Teaching Associate Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must check all eligibility requirements carefully before applying for the RSSB Teaching Associate vacancies.

Education Qualification

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) in the concerned or relevant subject from a recognized Indian university or an accredited foreign university.

A 5% relaxation in minimum marks at the Master’s level is available to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), MBC, and Differently-Abled categories.

In addition to the degree, candidates must meet one of the following NET/PhD conditions:

  • Cleared UGC/CSIR NET or an equivalent accredited test (SLET/SET); OR
  • Awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016 and their amendments), which exempts the candidate from NET/SLET/SET.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2027)

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. Relaxations in the upper age limit are available as follows:

  • 5 years for male candidates from SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories (Rajasthan domicile)
  • 5 years for General category female candidates
  • 10 years for female candidates from SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories (Rajasthan domicile)
  • 15 years for Ex-servicemen (subject to a maximum upper age of 50 years)
  • No upper age limit for widows and divorced women (subject to retirement age)

The selection of candidates for Teaching Associate posts will be based on the following process:
