Madhya Pradesh State Forensic Science Laboratory (MP FSL), under the Home Police Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, has started a recruitment drive to cover 126 vacancies for Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant, and Laboratory Attendant posts. MP FSL Recruitment 2026- Summary

Candidates falling under the age range of 18 to 40 years and who have completed their Class 10th, Class 12th, or Graduation can apply for the advertised vacancies. After selection in this recruitment, candidates will receive a handsome salary under the 7th CPC, which ranges from Pay Level 3 to 7.

In this recruitment, candidates can apply for Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant, and Laboratory Attendant vacancies, but without paying any application or examination fee. They must fill out and submit the online application form through the MP Online portal without any service charges.

MP FSL Recruitment Selection 2026 Process

The selection process for this recruitment is carried out in three stages: Shortlisting for the written exam, the written exam, and document verification. Candidates must qualify in each stage to be considered for the next stage of selection. The selection stages in MP FSL are given below:

1. Shortlisting: In this stage, candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained by them in the qualifying exam for the respective post. A merit list will be prepared, and candidates up to 5 times the vacancies will be shortlisted for the written exam. In case of a tie, all candidates who have the same marks will be called for the next stage, even if the number exceeds the 5 times band.
2. Written Exam: Candidates will have to appear for an offline written exam of 100 marks to be completed in a 2-hour duration. In this exam, they must secure a minimum qualifying mark. The final merit will depend on the marks obtained in this stage.
3. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written exam will have to show the original documents of identity, academics and category certificates.

MP Forensic Science Laboratory Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern is for the second stage of the selection process. The level of the written exam will be based on the minimum qualification for each post. The questions asked in this exam will be from general Science and General Knowledge subjects and will be descriptive or short-answer type in nature. The total marks of the exam are 100. Madhya Pradesh State Forensic Science Laboratory Salary 2026

The salary for all the given posts of this recruitment is based on the 7th Pay Commission. Upon selection, candidates will receive salary and allowances as per the Pay Level rules assigned by the Madhya Pradesh Government.

For the initial three years of the probation period, candidates will receive a percentage of the minimum pay scale as a stipend:

• 1st year: 70%
• 2nd year: 80%
• 3rd year: 90%
