Punjab Master Cadre Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026

The Punjab Master Cadre written exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode to select candidates who can teach from Class 6 to Class 10 in government schools. The exam contains 150 objective-type questions to be completed in a duration of 150 minutes. Candidates aspiring to teach any particular subject are to give their written exam only for that subject.

ERB Master Cadre Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the Punjab Master Cadre Recruitment 2026 follows a two-stage process, which is discussed below:

  1. Written Examination: In this first stage of selection, candidates take an online exam of 150 MCQs. It evaluates a candidate’s subject knowledge, teaching methods, and core concepts.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for the written exam appear for document verification. In this, ERB verifies a candidate’s identity, educational certificates, and other necessary documents.

The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the written exam and the eligibility verification during document verification.

Before candidates start with their Punjab Master Cadre Exam 2026, as per the topics of the syllabus, they must go through the exam pattern. This exam pattern is the same for all the subjects, irrespective of the subject chosen by the candidate.
