The cut off marks for UP PET 2025 for shortlisting candidates for Main Examination (P.A.P.-2025)/01 for Advertisement No. 02-Exam/2025 have been released at https://upsssc.gov.in/. A total of 3,66,712 candidates have secured equal to or more than cut off marks and have been declared eligible to appear in the mains exam.

Based on basis of the normalised score obtained in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025, a total of 15 times the number of advertised vacancies, who secured the same cut-off marks in their respective categories, have been approved to appear for the UP Lekhpal Main Examination.

UPSSSC Lekhpal Selection Process 2026

The selection process for UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2025–26 consists of the following stages:

Stage 1: UP PET Qualification – Candidates must qualify for the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET). PET scores are used to shortlist candidates for the Mains examination. Only PET-qualified candidates are eligible to apply.

Stage 2:  Mains Written Examination – Shortlisted candidates appear for the UP Lekhpal Mains Exam. The exam is conducted for 100 marks, and candidates’ performance in this exam determines the cut-off and merit list.

Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) – Candidates who score equal to or above the cut off in the Mains Exam are called for Document Verification. The final appointment is made after a successful DV.
