Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has successfully conducted the State Service Preliminary Examination on 22nd February 2026 in two shifts for Papers 1 and 2. For the Prelims MCQ-based exam, the CGPSC Answer Key 2026 has been officially released on 24th February 2026 at the official website www.psc.cg.gov.in. CGPSC Answer Key 2026 Out

CGPSC Prelims examination was conducted to the shortlisted the candidates for the mains examination for a total of 239 vacancies for State Administrative Service, State Police Service, District Excise Officer commercial Tax (Excise), and other posts. CGPSC Prelims exam includes a 2 paper. Paper 1 was conducted for General Studies, and Paper 2 for the 2 Aptitude Tests. Each paper consists of 100 questions for a total of 200 marks.

Candidates can easily download the answer key through the following steps.

1. Go to the official website of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) at www.psc.cg.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the link “STATE_SERVICE_EXAMINATION-2025_PRELIMS_MODEL_ANSWER (23-02-2026)”.
3. The CGPSC SSE Prelims Answer Key appears on the screen.
4. Download the answer key and save it for further reference.
5. Cross-check all their responses with the help of the answer key.

CGPSC Prelims Answer Key 2026 Raise Objection Link

If a candidate finds any discrepancies or errors in the answer key, they can challenge the answer key from 24th to 3rd March 2026. Along with the objection, candidates must pay the objection fee of Rs. 50//- for each question. CGPSC Prelims Marking Scheme 2026

The CGPSC Prelims Examination consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 is all about the general studies, and Paper 2 consists of the questions from Aptitude (CSAT). The paper collectively consists of 200 marks, each 100 marks. There are one-third negative mark deducted for each wrong answer.

• General Studies consists of 100 marks; each question carries 2 marks.
• CSAT Paper also consists of 100 marks, and each question carries 2 marks.
• 0.66 extra marks deducted for wrong answer in both papers.
