NLC Trade Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection process of the candidates for the apprenticeship will be based on academic performance, and a merit list will be prepared on the basis of academic marks. Shortlisted candidates in the merit list will be called for the document verification; any mismatch in the documents could result in the rejection of the candidates at any stage. After the DV candidates are called for the next round of the selection, such as the joining process.

NLC Trade Apprentice Salary 2026

Candidates who will be appointed to the NLC for the apprenticeship can get a stipend, and the monthly stipend will be decided by the NLC. The selected candidates get Rs 11,040 per month during the apprenticeship. During the apprenticeship, candidates will not get any kind of perks or allowances. At the end of the apprenticeship, they will get an apprentice certificate.
