How MPPSC Prepares the MP FSO Merit List PDF?

MP FSO Result and Merit List 2026 are prepared by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) in a transparent and rule-based manner, following the instructions mentioned in the official recruitment notification pdf.

1. Firstly, MPPSC evaluate all OMR answer sheets / written exam responses using the officially approved answer key and calculate examination marks of all candidates.
2. Based on the written exam, candidates up to 3 times the total number of advertised vacancies in each category are shortlisted and called for the interview.
3. Candidates securing the same marks for the same category are also shortlisted for Interview

MPPSC has announced the MP Food Safety Officer (FSO) Examination 2025 Result by dividing it into two separate parts. The Main List (87%) and the Provisional List (13%). This decision has been taken as per the instructions issued by the General Administration Department, Bhopal, and due to ongoing legal matters related to reservations.

Part A – Main Result List (87%)

MPPSC FSO Main List represents 87% of the total advertised posts. Candidates included in this list are securely shortlisted for the interview stage, subject to document verification.

• Selection is based on the merit order of written examination marks
• Candidates shortlisted – 3 times the number of vacancies, plus all candidates scoring equal marks
• Total candidates shortlisted for interview – 382

Part B – Provisional Result List (13%)

The remaining 13% of posts are kept under a Part B, provisional category

• This result list is subject to the final decision of the Hon’ble High Court
• Total Qualified candidates – 98
• Final selection from this list will depend on the court’s verdict regarding the reservation

The examination was conducted in offline mode and has two sections:

Section A: 50 questions
Section B: 100 questions

What’s Next After the MP FSO Written Result 2025?

Candidates who are declared qualified in the written exam will be called for the next stage of the selection process, which is as follows-

• Interview: Qualified candidates have to appear for a face-to-face interview round. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of the Written Exam and the Interview.
• Document Verification (DV): Candidates have to present their original certificates (Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Bio-Technology, etc.) to prove eligibility.

Document Verification Details

All shortlisted candidates from both Part A and Part B must submit their documents to the commission’s office before 5th February 2026. This step is mandatory, and failing to submit documents will lead to the cancellation of the selection for the further stage. Official interview dates will be announced by the commission separately.

Important Deadlines and Late Fee 

Candidates make sure that their Documents must reach the commission by 5th February 2026. The Commission has made a provision for late submission, subject to heavy penalties. Late documents must be submitted in person at the Commission’s office. After that Failure to submit documents even by the final late deadline will leads the disqualification of the result.

Vacancies To Be Filled Through MPPSC FSO Recruitment
