Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released an official notice regarding UP Home Guard Exam Date 2025-26 for the recruitment against PRPB-B (Home Guard Cadre)-02/2 at its official website, https://uppbpb.gov.in/. As per the notice, for the candidates whose applications were accepted for 41424 Home Guard vacancies, their written examination has been scheduled for three consecutive days from 25th to 27th April 2026.

Selection Process for UP Home Guard Recruitment

The UP Home Guard selection process includes a written examination followed by a physical measurement test, document verification, and medical examination.

Stage 1- Written Examination: 100 questions from General Knowledge with 100 marks will be asked.

Stage 2- Physical Standards Test and Document Verification Process: Candidates, after qualifying in the written examination, have to appear for the Physical Standards Test (PST) and the document verification process.

Stage 3- Physical Measurement Test: This stage is qualifying in nature, and candidates must complete the run within the stipulated time limit.

Stage 4- Medical Examination: Only the candidates who qualify for the above stages have to appear for the medical examination.
