TN PGTRB Qualifying Marks

TN TRB 2025 qualifying marks for PG Assistant, Physical Director Grade I, and Computer Instructor Grade I posts are set as minimum percentages that candidates must achieve in the written exam to proceed to certificate verification.

Part A (Tamil Eligibility Test)- Candidates need at least 40% marks in Part A, which equals 20 out of 50 marks. Only those meeting this threshold have their Part B answers evaluated.

Part B (Main Subject Test)- Minimum qualifying marks in Part B (out of 150) vary by category:

• General: 50% or 75 marks​
• SC/SCA: 45% or 67.5 marks​
• ST: 40% or 60 marks

Those candidates who qualified for the TN TRB written exam are now eligible to appear for the Certificate Verification process. The venue, date, and session (FN/AN) for the Certificate Verification will be released shortly on the official website of TN TRB.

Candidates short-listed for Certificate Verification have to carry all the original and attested copies of all Certificates /Documents as stated in the Call Letter for Certificate Verification. The candidate should bring the filled-out Bio-data Form. Candidates who do not attend the Certificate Verification on the scheduled date will not be considered for the further selection process, even if they have achieved the qualifying marks.
