Candidates can fill out their NHPC Non-Executive Application Forms from 2nd September to 1st October 2025 at www.nhpcindia.com. Candidates can follow the steps provided below to apply online at the official website.
- Go to www.nhpcindia.com and navigate to the “Careers” section.
- Click on the link for Notification No. NH/Rectt./04/2025 regarding the recruitment of non-executives.
- Register online by providing your name, mobile number, and email ID. A unique registration number and password will be generated.
- Log in with your new credentials and fill in the required personal, educational, and professional details.
- Upload scanned copies of the necessary documents, such as your photograph, signature, date of birth certificate, educational mark sheets, and caste certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the non-refundable application fee online. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates are exempt from paying the fee.

NHPC JE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The eligible candidates who will be applying for the NHPC Recruitment 2025 will have to go through a selection process. The selection process for JE and Non-Executive posts will include a Computer-Based Test/Written Exam, and candidates who will be qualified in the exam will be called for document verification. The final selection will be confirmed only after successful document verification.
- Computer-Based Test/Written Exam: Candidates will first have to appear for a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted online at designated examination centers across the country.
- Document Verification: At this stage, candidates must produce all the required certificates related to their educational qualification, age, caste/category, and other eligibility criteria.
NHPC JE Exam Pattern 2025
The exam will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates should carefully understand the exam scheme as it plays a very important role in preparation.
- The exam will be conducted online and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam for JE (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ E&C), Supervisor (IT), and Sr. Accountant.
- A total of 110 questions will be asked in the exam for Assistant Rajbhasha Officer and Hindi Translator
- The duration of the test will be 3 hours (180 minutes).
- The question paper will be set in both Hindi and English (except for the language paper).
- There will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks, i.e., 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
