Age Limit (As on 01/08/2025)
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 26 years. Candidates should have been born between 02/08/1999 and 01/08/2007. The age relaxation for other categories is:
- SC/ST Candidates: Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: Upper age limit relaxed by 3 years

WCL Apprentice Selection Process 2025
The merit list for the above posts will be prepared using the details provided by candidates in their application forms.
- Graduation/Diploma: For Graduation/Diploma candidates, merit will be based on the marks they have entered in their online application for their qualifying exam in the relevant stream.
- ITI Trades: For Trade (ITI) candidates, merit will be based on the average of their Matriculation marks and Trade Certificate (NTC/STC) marks. Candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest average, with the top scorer at the top of the merit list.
- Security Guard: Merit based on Matriculation marks.
Western Coalfields Apprentice Salary 2025
The monthly stipend for selected candidates is given in the table and is valid for up to 12 months. Selected candidates will also get additional benefits as per company rules.
