WBMSC Assistant Engineer Admit Card 2026 Date Out, Written Exam on 18 January

West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC) has released a notice on 5th January 2026 regarding the exam date for the Assistant Engineer. The written exam for the post is scheduled to be conducted on 18th January 2026 (Sunday). Candidates who registered for the Civil Engineering Post under Advt. No. 13 of 2025 will be able to download their WBMSC Assistant Engineer Admit Card 2026 from 11th January 2026 till the exam date.

WBMSC will conduct the Assistant Engineer examination in Kolkata. To appear in the examination, candidates have to download the WBMSC AE Admit Card 2026 by using their registration number, date of birth, and captcha code. After downloading the admit card, candidates can check the exam center and other details and plan as per the schedule. A total of 82 eligible candidates will be selected through this recruitment in the disciplines of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.

Along with the admit card, candidates must bring their original ID to the exam center for verification and other exam formalities. Candidates facing issues can contact WBMSC on 15th & 16th January 2026 (11 am to 4 pm) with a valid ID and two passport-size photos.

Follow these steps to download the WBMSC Assistant Engineer Hall Ticket 2026 from the official website. Candidates must print 2-3 copies of the hall ticket for the examination scheduled for 18th January 2026.

• Visit the official website of West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC), www.mscwb.org.
• On the homepage, go to the “Admit Card” Section.
• After clicking, you see the download link in front of the “Recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Advt. No. 13 of 2025) under KMC”.
• Then enter the registration number, Date of birth, and followed of captcha code.
• After submitting the details, your hall ticket appears on the screen.
• Save WB AE Admit Card 2026 PDF and print it for the examination.

WBMSC Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern 2025

The Assistant Engineer Examination (Civil) post will be conducted in Kolkata. The exam will be conducted in offline mode consisting of 100 multiple choice questions.

• Each question carries 2 marks
• 1 mark will be subtracted for each incorrect attempt
• The duration of the exam is 1.5 hours
