Steps to Fill UPSSSC OTR Registration 2026

  1. Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) at upsssc.gov.in.
  2. Locate the “One Time Registration (OTR)” link on the homepage and click “New Registration” if this is your first time.
  3. Enter your basic details: name, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and domicile, exactly as they appear on your official documents (Class 10 certificate, Aadhaar, etc.).
  4. Provide a valid, active mobile number and email ID. These are mandatory all OTPs and important communication will be sent here, so avoid using a number or email you don’t check regularly.
  5. Verify via OTP. An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number and email; enter it to confirm your identity.
  6. Set your login credentials. Choose a password you’ll remember, since the same credentials will be used to log in for every future UPSSSC application.
  7. Complete your profile — fill in educational qualification details, address (correspondence and permanent), and other required fields.
  8. Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format and file size specified on the portal. Blurry images or wrong dimensions are among the most common causes of rejection at this stage, so double-check before uploading.
  9. Review and submit. Once validated, the system generates your unique OTR ID/number.
  10. Download or screenshot your OTR confirmation and keep the ID safe.

  • Educational qualification certificates
  • A recent passport-size photograph and signature scan (correct pixel dimensions and file size, as specified on the portal)

FAQs

Is UPSSSC OTR Registration 2026 mandatory?

Yes. You cannot apply for any UPSSSC recruitment, including PET, without a completed OTR profile.

From where can I complete UPSSSC OTR Registration 2026?

Candidates can fill UPSSSC OTR Registration 2026 through the official UPSSSC website www.upsssc.gov.in

What if I forget my OTR password or ID?

The portal provides a password/ID recovery option using your registered mobile number or email, use that rather than creating a fresh registration, since multiple OTR profiles for one candidate can cause application issues later.

Does OTR guarantee selection or eligibility for a specific exam?

No. OTR is only a registration/profile step. Eligibility for any specific post is determined separately by that recruitment's official advertisement (qualification, age, category norms, PET cutoff, etc.).
