The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) Admit Card 2026 on its official website www.upsc.gov.in on 30th January 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the ESE 2026 exam can now download their UPSC ESE Admit Card 2026 by logging in using their registration ID/roll number and date of birth.
UPSC ESE Admit Card 2026 Out
The Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026 will be conducted on 8th February 2026 in offline (pen/paper) mode for thousands of candidates who have submitted their applications for 474 vacancies. Now the commission has released UPSC ESE Admit Cards only for the candidates whose applications are accepted. Carrying the admit card and valid ID proof is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.

How to Download UPSC ESE Admit Card 2026?
The candidates can follow the steps provided below in order to download their UPSC ESE admit card. Candidates must download and verify all details printed on the admit card.
- Open the official website https://upsc.gov.in/.
- Now click on “Admit Cards” appearing on the right side of the page.
- A new page opens, where you have to click on “E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC”
- A login page appears on the screen. Enter your Registration ID/Roll Number, Date of Birth, and captcha code.
- Click on the “Submit”.
- Download the UPSC ESE Admit Card 2026.
- Take a print on clean and white paper.
UPSC ESE Exam Day Instructions to be Followed
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.).
- Candidates should reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, earphones, etc., are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates must use black ball pen only for marking answers. Use of pencil, ink pen, or a blue pen is not allowed.
- Any mistake in filling Roll Number or Test Booklet Series Code may lead to rejection of the answer sheet.
