UPSC EPFO Personal Assistant Vacancy 2024

Out of the total vacancies for Personal Assistant (PA) posts in the Employment Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), 132 vacancies are reserved for the General category, 32 for EWS, 87 for OBC, 48 for SC and 24 vacancies for ST category candidates. 12 vacancies are also reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates. The candidates willing to apply for 323 Personal Assistant (PA) posts have to submit their online application online at the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at https://upsconline.nic.in/. EPFO Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

The candidates have to pay the required online application fee to submit their UPSC EPFO PA Application Form 2024. The mode of payment to pay the application fee will be Online through debit/credit/UPI/net banking. Applicants who opt for the “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system-generated Pay-in-Slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only “Pay by Cash” mode.

Steps to Apply for UPSC EPFO Personal Assistant Recruitment 2024

Candidates must apply online through the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in. The applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. Follow the below steps to apply online for UPSC EPFO PA Recruitment 2024.

1. Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at https://upsc.gov.in.

2. Then click on “Recruitment”>> “Online Recruitment Application (ORA)”>> EPFO Personal Assistant.

3. There are two parts to the registration process. The candidates will be required to complete the Online Application Form containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part-II as per the instructions available.

4. The candidates have to fill up all the required fields in both parts to finish the application. RID is the Registration ID, which is generated by the system when the applicant completes Part-I registration of his application.

5. After completing the process of filling in Part-I of the online application, the candidates are required to fill in Part-II of the online application process, which consists of three steps viz. Payment of Examination Fee (if applicable), uploading signature and photograph and choice of Examination centre.

6. The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- [excepting SC/ST/ Female/PwBD] either by depositing the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or through online mode.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

The complete details for the eligibility criteria required to be shortlisted as a Personal Assistant (PA) in EPFO are to be released along with the EPFO PA Notification 2024. The qualification and age limit for EPFO PA will be as mentioned below.

EPFO PA Education Qualification- The candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognised university are eligible to apply for UPSC EPFO PA Recruitment 2024. Steno and Typing are required.

EPFO PA Age Limit- The age limit has been notified with the release of the official notification pdf. The lower age limit for all candidates will be 18 years and upper age limit for the candidates from the general and EWS categories is 30 years, for OBC is 33 years, for SC/ST is 35 years, and for PwBDs is 40 years.

EPFO PA Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct 02 stages of the recruitment process to recruit candidates for Personal Assistant (PA) posts. The selection process for EPFO PA Recruitment 2024 comprises the written exam, skill test, document verification, and medical exam. Qualified candidates in the written exam will be called to appear for the skill test.

• Stage I: Written Examination- The UPSC EPFO PA written exam will consist of objective-type questions with multiple choices of answers. Based on the marks scored in the recruitment test, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise to appear in the Skill Test(s).
• Stage II: Skill Test (qualifying)- The Skill Test is mandatory, but it is also qualifying in nature. Those who qualify for the Skill Test will be considered for final selection based on their merit in the recruitment test.

UPSC EPFO Personal Assistant Exam Pattern 2024

• The EPFO PA Recruitment Test consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
• The topics included in the written exam will be general studies, general English, quantitative aptitude, and mental ability.
• A total of 200 questions will be asked for a total of 200 marks.
• There is a negative marking, 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The time duration will be provided for 02 hours to complete the exam.
• The medium of questions will be in English and Hindi language except for those questions in English Language.
• Based on the marks scored in the exam, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise to appear in the Skill Test which is qualifying in nature.
