The Uttar Pradesh government is expected to release the Notification PDF for around 20,000 vacancies, offering a good opportunity for candidates seeking government jobs in the cooperative sector. This recruitment will be conducted for various posts under the Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across the state.

Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge), J. P. S. Rathore, has directed the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Institutional Service Board to complete the entire recruitment process within a period of six months. As part of this major initiative, the state government aims to fill around 20,000 vacancies during this timeframe, including a significant number of posts in Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS).

The recuitment drive aims to fill 20,000 vacancies across cooperative institutions in Uttar Pradesh.

Around 5,000 posts are vacant in the top cooperative institutions
1,751 vacancies are in District Cooperative Banks (DCBs) alone
About 5,000 Secretary posts will be filled in PACS
Around 3,000 Accountant posts will be filled in PACS
Over 5,000 Computer Assistants will be hired through outsourcing
Watchmen will also be recruited wherever positions are vacant

UP PACS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for various posts is based on a Written Main Examination and a Document Verification process. The final merit list is based on candidates’ performance in the written exam.

The written examination consists of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions for 100 marks over 2 hours, with negative marking of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
