TS TET Certificate Validity

As per the guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana in line with NCTE norms, qualified candidates in the TS TET exam will be issued a TS TET Certificate for applying to teaching posts in government, aided, and private schools across the state. The validity of the TG TET Certificate is lifetime. 

The TS TET Certificatate not provide a guarantee for the job. Once issued, candidates can appear in the teacher recruitment process, such as TS DSC, any number of times during their career, provided they meet other eligibility criteria like educational qualifications and age limits prescribed in the recruitment notification.

Weightage of TGTET Scores in Telangana Teacher Recruitment Exam

The TSTET/TGTET score carries 20% weightage in the overall evaluation in the Telangana Teacher Recruitment Exam, such as TRT/DSC, conducted by the state government. The remaining 80% weightage is based on the total marks scored by candidates in the recruitment exam.
