Steps to Apply Online Rajasthan PTET 2024

Candidates can apply for Rajasthan PTET online mode by visiting the official website ptetvmou2024.com or from the direct link shared in the article. The step-by-step process to apply online for Rajasthan PTET is shared here.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Vardhman Mahavir Open University (VMOU), Kota at ptetvmou2024.com.

Step 2: On the homepage click on the link that reads ” Click Here for B.Sc B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed. 04 years course/ B.Ed 02 years course”.

Step 3: Fill out application forms by providing details including the candidate’s name, father’s name, and mobile number select the course and enter fee details then click on the Next tab.

Step 4: Upload the necessary document in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Submit the required application fee through online mode.

Step 6: Submit Rajasthan application forms and take printouts for future reference.

Rajasthan PTET Notification 2024 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee as mentioned in the notification pdf while submitting the Rajasthan PTET application forms. The fee for online application is Rs. 500/-. The application fee will be paid online mode. Application forms without an application fee will not be accepted.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should ensure their eligibility to apply online for Rajasthan PTET 2024. Candidates who do not fulfill eligibility parameters their candidature will be canceled and admission will not be granted if they do not fulfill the eligibility conditions up to the last date of registration for online counseling.

Rajasthan PTET Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed their graduation/post-graduation from any recognized university established by law with a minimum of 50 percent marks, deemed equivalent to the graduation/post-graduation examinations of universities in Rajasthan State. For candidates belonging to reserved category a minimum of 45 percent marks in the graduation or post-graduation examination is desirable.
• Students who are appearing in their final year of B.A./B.Com./B.Sc./Shiksha Shastri or M.A./ M.Com./ M.Sc./Acharya courses can also apply for and appear in the P.T.E.T.-2024 exam. However, to be eligible, they must have their results up to the last date of online counseling registration and a marks sheet of the qualifying examination showing their eligibility percentage.

Rajasthan PTET Selection Process

Based on the candidate’s performance in B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. Entrance Test 2024 (PTET exam 2024) merit list will be prepared showing the marks obtained by each candidate will be prepared. The allotment of college to the applicant will be made through an online counseling process based on their merit, as per his/her faculty, category, teaching subjects, choice of college filled, etc.

Rajasthan PTET Exam Pattern 2024

It is prior for the candidates to know the Rajasthan PTET exam pattern, total number of questions, total marks, topics to be included in the exam marking scheme etc. Understanding the exam pattern helps the candidates to prepare better preparation for the exam.

• The Rajasthan PTET exam will be held in offline mode (pen and paper).
• A total of 150 questions objective-type multiple-choice questions with at least four alternative answers will be asked.
• Topics to be asked in the PTET exam will be Mental Ability, Teaching attitude & Aptitude Test, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency.
• The exam will be held for a total of 03 hours.
• A total of 150 questions will be asked for a total of 600 marks.
• The Paper will be set both in English and Hindi except in the Language Proficiency Section.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Sheat Reservation

Reservation for Rajasthan domicile only will be made for Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties’ seats by the rules of the Government of Rajasthan. Candidates from other states will be considered only in the general category. Out of the total number of seats available for each faculty, a maximum of 5% will be reserved for candidates from other states based on their overall merit.
