What After OSSSC CRE Prelims Result 2026?

Candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned in the result PDF are declared qualified in the prelims exam and shortlisted to appear for the mains exam. Based on candidates’ performance in the Preliminary Examination, a total of 5 times the number of vacancies advertised, category / special category-wise, are shortlisted to appear for the mains exam. 1. Mains Exam – The mains exam consists of 180 objective-type questions for a total of 180 marks. The level of the main exam is the High School Certificate Examination, and there is negative marking in the main exam. 0.33 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
2. Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills – The Practical Skill Test is qualifying in nature. The minimum qualifying mark shall be 40% for all candidates.
3. Document Verification Process – Based on the candidate’s performance in the main examination /Practical Skill Test shall be called for the Document Verification.
4. Final Selection List – The provisional select list will be based on merit, the results of the Practical Skill Test, and the candidate’s preference for the post and district.

OSSSC RI Mains Exam Pattern 2026

OSSSC RI Mains Exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions, and the exam will be conducted for a 3-hour duration. There is negative marking; 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
