Educational Qualification

1. Candidates should have a 10+2 pass or its equivalent qualification from the recognized board with Computer proficiency.
2. The candidate shall be able to speak, read, and write Odia fluently and must have
   a. Passed the Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject. (OR)
   b. Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subjects. (OR)
   c. Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above. (OR)
   d. Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
3. Computer Proficiency
   a. The candidates having computer proficiency of ‘O’ level and use of Odia language in Computer are eligible to apply for the post of GRS.
   b. candidates having higher computer qualifications like BCA, PGDCA, MCA, B.Tech (IT/Computer Science), or B.E. (IT/ Computer Science) can also apply for Odisha ZP Recruitment 2024.
   c. Computer proficiency is only qualifying in nature and shall not count for determining the order of merit list.

Odisha ZP Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for Gram Rozgar Sewak (GRS) posts will be based on candidates’ marks obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent examination. In case two or more candidates secure the same marks without 4th Optional in +2 or its equivalent examination, the candidate older in age as per date of birth in the HSC Certificate will be placed above the younger. Further, if the age of two or more candidates is the same, the candidate who has passed the HSC examination earlier will be placed above the other in the selection list.
