NMDC Trainee Selection Process 2025
Candidates will be selected through different stages: written exam, trade test, document verification, and a medical test. Those who get selected will be posted at NMDC’s iron ore mines in Kirandul and Bacheli (Chhattisgarh) or Donimalai (Karnataka).
- OMR-Based Test or Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Ability Test or Trade Test
For the post of Field Attendant, the first level of selection is an OMR-based test, followed by a Physical Ability Test as the second level. For all other posts, the selection consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as the first level, and a Trade Test as the second level.

The salary for a trainee is as per the company rules. Selected candidates will get the stipend during the training period, ranging from Rs. 18000 to Rs. 19500. After regularization, they will get Rs. 18,100 to 35,040 depending upon the posts
