The application fee for the MPPSC Librarian Application is Rs. 500 for General and Other State candidates. For SC, ST, PWD, EWS, and OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs. 250. Candidates must pay these fees to complete the application process.

MPPSC Librarian Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the MPPSC Librarian Recruitment 2025 should check the educational and age criteria set by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will be ineligible for the job.

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field like Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Sciences, or Languages with at least 55% marks from an Indian University.
• Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or CSIR, or any equivalent test recognized by the UGC or MP SET.
• Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree according to the UGC Regulations 2009 or later regulations are exempted from the eligibility requirements of NET/SET/SLET for Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in universities and colleges.

The salary for a Librarian in Madhya Pradesh is as per the 7th Pay commission. The pay level for the Librarian in Madhya Public Service Commission is given at Academic Level 10, with an initial pay of Rs. 57700. In addition to this, other perks and allowances will be given such as DA, TA, HRA etc.
