Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) had announced 32 Assistant Engineer vacancies in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Agricultural disciplines for which a written exam has been conducted. Initially, the Commission will release the provisional answer key, which will help candidates to estimate their marks and challenge any incorrect answers.

MPPSC AE Answer Key 2026 Download Link

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will activate the download link of MPPSC AE Answer Key 2026 on its official website https://mppsc.mp.gov.in, for candidates who gave their exam on 22nd March 2026. After downloading the answer key, candidates will be able to cross-check their marked responses with the official answer key for General Studies and Concerned Engineering Subject.

Steps to Download MPPSC AE Answer Key 2026?

After MPPSC has released the response sheet of the Assistant Engineer exam, candidates can download it by following the steps given below:

1. Open any internet browser and visit the official MPPSC website, https://mppsc.mp.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, go to the “What’s New” section, and in it, click “View all”.
3. A new window will open. In this, look for the link titled “Provisional Answer Key- Assistant Engineer Exam 2026”. Click on this link.
4. The answer key will open in a PDF format and will include answers for all sets (A, B, C, D).
5. Download and save the answer key for the future.

MPPSC Assistant Engineer Marking Scheme 2026

MPPSC AE exam has been conducted in offline mode for a total of 3 hours. It contained 150 MCQs from two parts. Part A is for the General Studies subject and contains 50 questions. While Part B is for an engineer-specific subject of Civil/Electrical/Mechanical and carries 100 questions. The MPPSC AE Maring Scheme 2026 is given below:

1. For each correct answer, the candidate gets +3 marks.
2. For each wrong answer, there is a negative marking of -1 mark.

To calculate the expected marks, candidates must count the number of correct answers and multiply it by 3. To exclude negative marking, they must count the incorrect answer and multiply it by 1. Then calculate the difference.

MPPSC AE Answer Key 2026 Raise Objections

Along with the answer key, MPPSC will also provide a window to raise objections for a limited period. If candidates find any incorrectly marked answers in the provisional answer key, they can object to it through this window. To challenge any answer, candidates must follow the steps given below:

1. At first, visit the official website of MPPSC, https://mppsc.mp.gov.in
2. Go to the “What’s New” section, and in it, look for the “Objection/Response Link” provided beside the download link of the provisional answer key for the Assistant Engineer exam.
3. By clicking on it, a login window will open. In this, enter your registration number and date of birth. With this, the objection submission portal will open.
4. In this, choose the question number against which you want to object, and choose the correct option according to you.
5. Now provide a valid reason to support your objection.
6. Pay the objection fee through online payment mode. Then submit your objection.
7. Take a printout of the confirmation page.
