Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a two-year postgraduate degree program in any subject from a UGC-recognized university, and other state candidates must meet the general category minimum (55%+) for a Master’s degree. (OR)
• Candidates who have a two-year postgraduate diploma or certificate awarded by an Indian university or institution or a foreign degree or diploma or certificate should get its equivalence verified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, before applying.

Age Limit

There is no age limit in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test. This means that individuals of all age groups can apply and sit for the examination, as they meet the academic qualifications and other eligibility criteria set by the organizing authorities.

Note:- Candidates who have passed the UGC-NET/CSIR JRF examination before 1989 are not eligible to apply KSET exam.
