Kolkata Police Constable Selection Process 2024

The selection process for the Kolkata Police Constable Exam 2024 will be based on 05 stages of the selection process i.e. Preliminary Written Test, followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Exam, and Interview. The Preliminary written exam, PMT and PET are qualifying in nature and the final merit list will be based on the candidate’s total score obtained in the Final written exam and Interview exam.

Kolkata Police Constable Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Candidates who qualify for the Preliminary written examination will be called to appear for the PMT test. The physical standards (height, weight, chest) will be tested in the Physical Measurement Test. PMT test is qualifying in nature, candidates who do not lie down in the PMT test will be eliminated from the selection process.

Kolkata Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who clear the Physical Measurement test will be called to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test. PET is qualifying in nature and qualified candidates will be called to appear for the Final Written examination. Ex-servicemen above 35 years of age are relaxed in the physical standards for the Physical Efficiency Test.
