Karnataka PGCET Result 2024 Out
All those candidates who appeared in the Karnataka PGCET exam are informed that the Karnataka PGCET Result 2024 has been released online at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. The Karnataka PGCET Results consist of the total marks obtained by candidates in the exam and the ranks of candidates. Candidates should score minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission to colleges, as per KEA the minimum qualifying marks are 50% for the general category and 45% for SC/ST and category 1 of Karnataka.
KEA PGCET Result 2024
Candidates who declared qualified for Karnataka PGCET 2024 are eligible to participate in the Karnataka PGCET counselling process and get admission to MBA, MCA, or M.TECH based on their PGCET scores. They will get a seat in one of the 260 colleges for MBA and 135 colleges for MCA who are participating first round of counselling.

Karnataka PGCET Cut Off 2024
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the Karnataka PGCET Cut Off 2024 along with the seat allotment results. Karnataka PGCET cut-off ranks are important as the seats are allotted based on cutoff ranks released by different colleges for admission to MBA/ MCA courses. Karnataka PGCET 2024- Course Wise Seats
Through the Karnataka PGCET 2024, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has offered a total of 49,286 for an MBA, MCA, M.TECH and M.ARCH Courses. Out of the total seats, 30,739 seats are available for admission to the MBA course and 12,888 seats are for admission MCA Course.

Karnataka PGCET Result 2024- Tie Breaker Formula
In the case where two or more candidates secure the same merit. To allocate a rank, KEA will follow the tie-breaking formula.
- Candidates are ranked for Karnataka PGCET based on their total aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
- In the case where marks obtained are equal, the inter-se-merit is determined based on the age of the candidates. Older candidates are preferred over younger ones.
- There can be cases where the above-mentioned criteria cannot be fulfilled as each condition above is identical, in such cases, inter-see merit will be determined based on the draw of lots.
Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024
Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will also release the dates for document verification and counselling soon. The candidates who will have their results have to go through document verification, after which the KEA will start first round of counselling where it will be allotted different colleges for MBA and MCA. For the first round of counselling there are 30,739 seats in MBA and 12,888 seats in MCA all across different colleges in Karnataka. Candidates who will not be selected in the first round will still have chances of getting into various colleges in the second round of counselling if seats are left vacant.
